Mayor Letica called the meeting to order at 1:30pm

Proof of Publication was confirmed.

 

A total of twenty-one (21) grievance applications were submitted for the 2019/2020 assessment role and were reviewed;

A determination was made to adjust one grievance application (285 Asharoken Ave. 0401-003-03-003-004) due to a comparison of the 2019 RAR calculation. The board voted to reduce the assessed value from 62,560 to 51,360. A letter will be sent out notifying the applicant of the adjustment. The board voted to accept this adjustment.

 

Mayor Letica made a motion to approve, seconded by Trustee Burke.

Motion carried.

 

A determination was made to deny Twenty (20) of the grievance applications due to insufficient supporting documentation, incomplete information and comparison to the 2019 RAR calculation.  Letters indicating the reasons for the denials will be sent out. The board voted to deny twenty (20) grievance applications;

The February 19, 2019 meeting of the Board of Assessment Review ended at approximately 5:35PM.
